"Together We're Better"
NGWA will be holding its Affiliate States Leadership Conference on Sunday, February 27, 2011, in conjunction with the 14th Annual Ground Water Legislative Conference, also known as the NGWA Washington Fly-in.
The leadership conference, held exclusively for state association executives and officers, focuses on topics relevant to managing your association such as:
- Conducting effective meetings
- Recruiting members
- Volunteer/executive relationships.
Registration
Though registration for this conference is free, you must preregister, details of which will be posted this fall.
NGWA will provide up to a $500 credit to your Affiliate State for its participation in this event. To receive this credit, each state must submit receipts for travel expenses following the event; NGWA will reimburse your state up to the $500 maximum. It is up to the discretion of each state as to how to distribute the funds. Please note that any amount remaining from this $500 may also be used to help offset the expense of attending the 2011 NGWA Fly-in.
