NGWA is debuting a series of online offerings starting Wednesday, May 3, at 12 p.m. ET titled What’s New* Wednesday — based on your submissions!
This online series is your opportunity to share anything new in the groundwater industry — techniques, tools, products, research projects, research outcomes — with NGWA members and to be able to do so in a timely fashion.
If you are interested in presenting, you will need to submit a 200-word abstract in sentence format via the form below about your new method, gadget, or conclusion — by the stated deadline dates. There will be a two-week review period in each cycle and then the accepted presentations will be listed on the NGWA website under that particular day’s event. Each selected presenter will be allocated at least 10 minutes to speak. (Actual presentation times will be assigned based on the number of accepted talks for that day’s offering.)
When the stated submission deadline is reached, any subsequent entries will be considered for the next scheduled presentation.
NGWA will be using the GoToWebinar® platform for these presentations. Accepted presenters will be tutored in a practice session prior to the broadcast date.
To submit an abstract, first check the scheduled presentation date above to ensure your availability and then click here to access the online submission form.
Once the presentations are determined and the event is posted, NGWA members will be able to register to attend just as they do for any of our online brown bag presentations. The same guidelines for continuing education credit apply to this offering as for our other brown bag presentations. Oversight bodies may (or may not) accept this online offering for credit; however, those in the NGWA professional designations programs may submit these offerings for continuing education credit.
* Note that “new” is defined for the purpose of this series as being within four months of the submission date.
