presented by Venki Uddameri, Ph.D., PE
This brown bag Webinar is brought to you by the NGWA Groundwater Availability Interest Group.
Learn how a regional-scale monitoring network for risk-informed groundwater management works during this one-hour online presentation, which focuses on three aspects of the network design:
The design framework uses statistical power analysis to address the first question. A GIS-based weighted multicriteria decision-making approach is used to prioritize land parcels for monitoring and then effective sample size analysis is used to identify appropriate temporal frequency for analysis.
The proposed design methodology is scalable, incorporates stakeholder input, and is consistent with adopted policies.
The methodology will be illustrated using a case-study.
Though free to NGWA members, connections are limited and preregistration is required.
