Slide Master, the Underutilized PowerPoint Tool: Learn How It Can Save You Time Creating Professional Presentations

Page Content

October 4, 2011 • 1:30 p.m. ET (10:30 a.m. PT)

presented by Rula A. Deeb, Ph.D., BCEEM

Overview

Work smarter, not harder, creating your PowerPoint® presentations using the slide master tool. A slide master is the top slide in a hierarchy of slides that stores information about the theme and slide layouts of a presentation, including the background, color, fonts, effects, placeholder sizes, and positioning. The slide master’s purpose is to let you make a global change, such as replacing the font style, and have that change reflected on all the slides in your presentation. Slide master will enable you to create professional-looking presentations easily and efficiently.

This half-hour brown bag Webinar will address the following:

  • The many benefits of slide master
  • Best practices for creating and working with slide master
  • How to change font styles for title, body, and footer text
  • How to uniformly or selectively change formatting, background design, and color scheme
  • How to insert art or a logo that you want to appear on multiple slides
  • And much more….
