presented by Bill Deutsch
During this one-hour Webinar, you will be introduced to groundwater geochemical modeling and the tools available to make the necessary calculations of water/rock/gas interactions, which, in turn, can be used to estimate natural attenuation of contaminants, design and implement applied remediation methods, and predict longevity of a treated system.
You will learn how:
Examples applicable to typical groundwater characterization and remediation projects will also be discussed.
This Webinar is designed for any groundwater professional interested in understanding the geochemical processes that affect the composition of water as it moves through the soil zone and the underlying aquifer.
It is also designed for project managers/designers who are considering in situ chemical treatment of an aquifer who need a method for understanding the system they will be treating so that accurate dosages are calculated and surprises avoided.
Introductory; university-level chemistry is desirable.
