USA Groundwater Fund

This fund was established to help meet groundwater needs in the United States. The fund has a three part purpose; education and training of groundwater professionals, public education and awareness, and to support the Water Wells for America program.

The fund will supply much needed dollars to the continuing education and training of those in the groundwater profession. Working with NGWA and its education and training responsibilities, the Foundation will give greater attention to the need for vocational education and the upgrading of worker skills.

The fund also recognized a lack of public education and awareness to many challenges facing safe and plentiful groundwater supplied throughout the world. The Foundation will work with organizations including NGWA and WET to provide funds for effective public awareness efforts

Water Wells for America strives to further identify, document, and report on the potable drinking water needs of America’s families. The Foundation will work with NGWA Affiliate State Associations to learn about the conditions in their states. Based on this information the Fund will consider grants to impoverished or catastrophe-suffering US citizens needing replacement or repairs to potable drinking groundwater supplies.
