Thank you to everyone that supported the NGWREF Fundraising Auction by attending, donating, and bidding.
Established in 1994, the National Ground Water Research and Educational Foundation, also known as NGWREF, is focused on conducting educational, research, and other charitable activities related to a broader public understanding of groundwater. NGWREF is operated by the National Ground Water Association as a 501(c)(3) public foundation.
As appropriate, NGWREF's findings are made public via publications, education experiences at major meetings, and public information forums.
Young people are the future of groundwater science and industry. Those currently in the field will be well served by the encouragement they give to future groundwater professionals.
Realizing this, the National Ground Water Research and Educational Foundation (NGWREF) has launched a campaign to raise more than $1,500,000 for educational initiatives through the Len Assante Scholarship Fund.
The drive is being directed to NGWA members, corporations, and foundations around the country. The funds raised will also help support the Darcy Lecture Series in Groundwater Science Fund, the McEllhiney Lecture Series in Water Well Technology Fund, the Groundwater Research Fund, the Developing Nations Fund, the USA Groundwater Fund, and the 21st Century Fund, an expanded endowment that will provide the following additional benefits.
