NGWA expresses its condolences to the family and friends of Derek Tomlinson, who passed away on April 9 in Palm Springs, California. He was 48.

Tomlinson was educated at the University of Waterloo where he obtained his master of engineering in 1998. He then began his successful career as an environmental engineer until his passing.
