National Ground Water Association

(WESTERVILLE, OH — January 28, 2011) The National Ground Water Association will offer a Webinar about commercial motor vehicle safety compliance on March 9, 2011, at 4 p.m. ET.
 
The Webinar, “Drivers and Documents,” will be presented by safety expert Gary LaBrake.
 
Comprehensive Safety Analysis, also known as CSA, is a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) initiative to improve commercial motor vehicle (CMV) safety and ultimately reduce CMV-related crashes, injuries, and fatalities. CMVs and any vehicle over 10,000 pounds gross vehicle weight, single or combination, involved in interstate commerce, are subject to federal safety regulations.

 

CSA introduces a new enforcement and compliance model that allows FMCSA and its state partners to address safety problems before crashes occur. CSA uses an inspection and weighting system to achieve its goals.
