NGWA offers Webinar on considering employee stock ownership plans (May 9, 2011)

(WESTERVILLE, OH — May 9, 2011) The National Ground Water Association is offering a Webinar regarding how employee stock ownership plans work in a Webinar on May 25 at 11 a.m. ET.

Employee stock ownership plans are an option some businesses may want to consider given the volatility and uncertainty in future tax structures, limited marketability of closely held businesses, and the growing number of business owners approaching retirement age.

This Webinar is suited to business owners and managers in all industry segments. Registration closes May 23.

The instructors are:

Thomas Roback Jr., CEP, QKA, managing director of Blue Ridge ESOP Associates. Roback has worked in the accounting, investment, and ESOP industry for more than 20 years. He’s an expert in the design, implementation, and execution of ESOP, stock option, stock purchase, and restricted stock plans.
Robert Brown, an ESOP attorney with more than 35 years of experience in governance, ERISA, and tax matters. He represents ESOP trustees, ESOP-owned corporations, special board committees, and selling shareholders.
