(WESTERVILLE, OH — July 20, 2011) The 2011 Ground Water Expo and Annual Meeting is heading to Las Vegas for the second consecutive year November 29-December 2 following a record-breaking run in 2010, the National Ground Water Association announced today.
NGWA Executive Director Kevin B. McCray, CAE, said the upcoming 63rd Ground Water Expo and Annual Meeting is building upon the 2010 program that produced:
“Our industry defied the odds last year by turning out in large numbers for one of our biggest and best events ever. Our goal this year is to do even better with outstanding exhibiting, networking, and educational opportunities,” McCray said.
“We have an outstanding cadre of professionals across divisions whose resiliency and drive — even in difficult economic times — makes the Expo a premier, must-see event,” he added.

Educational programs are scheduled all four days. Increased emphasis on business management is being showcased for all major industry professions and businesses, as well as groundwater sustainability and availability. Half-day workshops are scheduled for Friday morning and will address geothermal operations, bidding and estimating, and department of transportation compliance.
