(WESTERVILLE, OH — November 5, 2012) With peak water use season over and winter ahead, it’s a good time for household water well owners to get their well systems checked and maintenance performed, the National Ground Water Association said today.
Well owners can learn about water well inspections and well maintenance at NGWA’s Web site, www.WellOwner.org.
WellOwner.org includes practical information on topics including:
“Thirteen million American households rely on private wells for their water supply. If yours is one of them, it’s your responsibility to make sure your well system is maintained and the water quality checked,” said NGWA Public Awareness Director Cliff Treyens.
“WellOwner.org is a great place to learn about keeping your water well system in good operating condition and testing the water to reduce risks to your water supply,” Treyens said.
