  • Cargo securement — FMCSA — NGWA sought clarification from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) on its cargo securement regulations pertinent to drilling rig derricks during transit. FMCSA has provided guidance as contained in its letter dated August 20, 2007. We encourage you to download the letter (PDF) and keep it in your vehicle(s) in the event you are stopped by enforcement personnel.
