The National Ground Water Association and the National Ground Water Research and Educational Foundation have been participants in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, an event designed to demonstrate the scientific exploits of young people.
NGWREF has provided cash awards to three winners—students who take on ground water-related projects. In addition to the cash prizes of $500, $250, and $200 respectively, the winning students' schools receive a ground water science library.
NGWREF is able to participate through a grant from NGWA.
