NGWA members descend on Washington, DC, every year for the Ground Water Industry Legislative Conference, better known as the NGWA Fly-in.
Attendees receive briefings from congressional leaders and key policymakers. The NGWA Fly-in also provides the opportunity for attendees to talk with congressional members and their staffs about issues important to the ground water industry. NGWA representatives brief attendees and provide them with information before the visits to congressional offices.
Forbes magazine has stated groups who are the most effective in Washington, DC, are those who vote and spend time talking to their representatives about their industry and the role public policy can play.
