Dr. Mary P. Anderson is the editor-in-chief of the peer-reviewed journal, Ground Water®, a bimonthly publication of the National Ground Water Association.
Anderson is the C.S. Slichter Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a member of the National Academy of Engineering. She has served as the chair of her department at the University of Wisconsin and on numerous national committees. She is a past president of the American Geophysical Union's Hydrology Section. She has authored more than 100 articles and is the coauthor of Applied Groundwater Modeling: Simulation of Flow and Advective Transport, a textbook published in English, Japanese, and Chinese.
