How to submit your paper
When you first log on to our online manuscript submission system, http://gwmr.msubmit.net/, you are required to create a user profile and a password. After your user profile is accepted, choose the "Submit Manuscript" option.
Before submitting a manuscript, please have the following information ready:
- All authors' first and last names, postal addresses, work telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses
- Title, which you can cut and paste from your manuscript
- Abstract, which you can also cut and paste from your manuscript
- Manuscript files in PDF, Word, EPS, Text, Postscript, or RTF format (PLEASE NOTE that if your paper is accepted for publication, the publisher will need to have it sent as a Microsoft Word fileāthe other formats are acceptable only for the review process)
- Figures/images embedded in the manuscript file, or in external files in TIF, GIF, JPG, PDF, Postscript, or EPS format (PLEASE NOTE that if your paper is accepted for publication, the publisher will need them sent in the manner described in high-quality figures)
- E-mail address and institution of desired peer reviewers (if any).
After pressing the "continue" button, you will be presented with four screens that gather detailed information about your manuscript and allow you to upload the pertinent files.
The sequence of screens is:
- A long form asking for author, title, abstract, and file quantities.
- A screen asking for the actual file locations via an open file dialog. After completing this screen, your files will be uploaded to our server.
- A completion screen that will provide you with a specific manuscript number for your manuscript.
- An approval screen that will allow you to verify your manuscript uploaded and converted correctly.
While you will be notified via e-mail when a decision is reached on your manuscript, you may log in to our online manuscript submission system at any time to check on its status.
Also, you may log on to the manuscript submission system to change your user profile or registration. Please note, however, that changes to your online manuscript submission profile will not update your NGWA membership records.
