Purpose
The purpose of the NGWA Ground Water Availability Interest Group is to identify the critical hydrogeologic factors, socioecological forces, and underlying scientific issues that must be taken into consideration in order to quantify, from place to place, the rates at which ground water may be withdrawn to meet current needs without either impairing the resource or undermining its availability to meet future needs.
