This hour-long webinar will provide an overview of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s work on water reuse and the current state of practice for using recycled water in managed aquifer recharge (MAR), different regional drivers for implementation, and a variety of operational and public health considerations.

Included will be information on water quality considerations for pathogens and chemicals typically found in municipal wastewater. Also provided will be an overview of research on MAR being led by EPA’s Office of Research and Development. Finally, you will hear from the Underground Injection Control Program on regulations impacting MAR.
