NGWA Online Training Center courses are an affordable and convenient alternative to traditional education programs.  Below are some frequently asked questions about NGWA's Online Training Center courses, as well as information specific to the platform used for these offerings.

How long does it take to complete a course?

Each course is unique and self-paced.  Please refer to the specific course posting for an average time of completion.

How will I receive the information to participate in an NGWA online course?

Immediately after completing your registration for this on-demand course, you can access it one of two ways.  (1) Click the link included on your order confirmation that will be emailed to the address on record.  (2) Click the "My Account" button on NGWA.org, log in with your email and password, click on "My Registrations" on the menu bar to the left, and then click on the link just below the title of the course you've purchased.

I've purchased the course.  Is there a time limit for me to complete it?

You have a full 30 days to complete the course.

Will I receive a certificate for completing the course?

Yes.  When you complete a course and an exam with 70 percent or higher, you can immediately print a certificate using the scrolled paper icon on the right side of the course page marked "Print your Certificate."  (Please note that not all courses may have exams.)

How many times can I go through the course?

You can go through the course once.  You can start and stop the lesson at any time.  You can also go back and review the content.

What happens if I don't pass the exam?

You have the opportunity to take the exam three times.  We encourage you to review the content prior to doing so.

I am certified through NGWA's Voluntary Certification Program.  Can I obtain continuing education points for taking NGWA on-demand courses?

Yes.  If you are currently enrolled through the NGWA Voluntary Certification Program, you can obtain continuing education points or professional development credits for attending (or presenting) a training center course.  Submit the appropriate documentation to the certification coordinator for proper credit.

Can I take the course using my smartphone or tablet?

We recommend that all users use PCs or Macs, not smartphones or tablets, as the course material is not properly formatted for smartphones or tablets at this time.  Most of our courses support most browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome.

How can I get a refund if I change my mind about a course?

All sales are final, so please review the course description carefully.
