NGWA is seeking qualified groundwater professionals to volunteer as reviewers for its technical journals, Groundwater® and Groundwater Monitoring & Remediation®.
Content in the two publications undergoes a peer-review process with each submission usually having three reviewers so the Association is always seeking qualified reviewers.
To volunteer, simply create a profile via NGWA’s online peer review/manuscript submission system at https://review.wiley.com/ and list your areas of expertise. The journal editors will review your profile and then solicit reviews of articles that match your background.
Serving as a peer reviewer is an important part of being a researcher as it is a way of giving back to the groundwater community. It also improves your personal profile in the field and expands your knowledge as you keep up to date on the latest science.
