Ohio Groundwater Guardians recognized at PFAS event

 

GW GuardiansThe National Ground Water Association hosted the PFAS Management, Mitigation, and Remediation Conference, June 19-20 in Westerville, Ohio.

Several Groundwater Guardians located in Ohio were in attendance and received special recognition. NGWA CEO Terry S. Morse, CIC, and Board President Scott King, PG, P.Geo., LHG, thanked the teams for their continued work and passion in groundwater education and protection efforts in their communities.

The four Groundwater Guardians located in Ohio recognized were:

  • Wright-Patterson Air Force Base
  • Miami Conservancy District in Dayton, Ohio
  • Dayton Multi-Jurisdictional Source Water Program
  • Hamilton to New Baltimore Groundwater Consortium.


Groundwater Guardian is a program of The Groundwater Foundation that provides support and encouragement for communities and teams of all types (cities, counties, watersheds, organizations, agencies, schools, etc.) to begin groundwater awareness activities, motivation to continue these efforts, and recognition for their achievements.
