Marvin F. Glotfelty, RG, principal hydrogeologist for Clear Creek Associates, a Geo-Logic Associates Co. in Phoenix, Arizona, received the Arizona Hydrological Society Lifetime Achievement Award.
Glotfelty, who writes “The Art of Water Wells” column for NGWA’s Water Well Journal®, is only the 15th person to receive this award since AHS started awarding it in 1995.
“I don’t know that I fit the high standards, but I’m sincerely and deeply honored,” Glotfelty said on his LinkedIn page.
Glotfelty is a licensed well driller and registered professional geologist in Arizona, where he has practiced water resources consulting for more than 35 years. He is a regular contributor of industry knowledge on NGWA: Industry Connected videos and a regular workshop presenter at Groundwater Week. Glotfelty is the author of The Art of Water Wells (NGWA Press, 2019) and was The Groundwater Foundation’s 2012 McEllhiney Lecturer.
