Mary Szatkowski is a hydrogeologist for the Maine Geological Survey. Mary’s current projects include municipal-scale groundwater modeling, statewide water usage data analysis, and the Maine Cooperative Snow Survey. Prior to joining the Maine Geological Survey in 2025, she worked as a hydrologist for the Bureau of Land Management, evaluating condition of and impacts to lakes and streams in Arctic Alaska. Mary holds a M.S. from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks and a B.S. from Bates College.
