Brownfield Program Coordinator at Minnesota Pollution Control Agency
Shanna is a licensed Professional Geologist in Minnesota and Certified Professional Geologist through the American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG). Shanna earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She’s worked in both private and public sectors as a hydrogeologist/project manager and is currently the Brownfield Program Coordinator for the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. Shanna served as President of AIPG in 2024. She is passionate about geoscience outreach, whether speaking about volcanoes with school children or discussing geoscience careers with students.
