NGWA mourns loss of member

NGWA member Rodger McDonald passed away on February 17 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. He was 84.

McDonald spent his career in the environmental engineering field. He worked for the provincial Departments of Health and Environment before founding a consulting engineering firm for which he worked for years. After selling the company, he continued consulting work until he retired three years ago.

He was internationally recognized and respected for his expertise on water treatment and wastewater systems. McDonald was honored with the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan’s Meritorious Achievement Award for his contribution to consulting engineering in 2009.
