NGWA members from across the country are meeting directly with federal decision-makers today and Wednesday at the 2026 NGWA Fly-In.
Issues will include:
- Changes to geothermal tax credits and what they mean for contractors and customers
- The rollout of new workforce development initiatives affecting groundwater contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers
- Federal activity on PFAS cleanup, monitoring, and liability issues
- Potential cuts to the National Ground-Water Monitoring Network and USGS water programs.
Today — Policy Briefing and Dinner
Fly-In will start with an evening policy session where attendees will
get the latest updates on the federal landscape and those we will be
advocating for on the hill and a dinner to re-connect with friends and
colleagues.
Wednesday — Capitol Hill Meetings
The next day, we’ll head to Capitol Hill to meet with congressional
offices and agency officials to ensure the voice of the groundwater
community is heard loud and clear
