Managed Aquifer Recharge Information

NOTE: Regulation/oversight of MAR in IDAHO addresses water quality and depends on the type for recharge. Idaho Department of Water Resources (IDWR) oversees recharge through direct injection under the UIC program and the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (IDEQ) oversees recharge through land application/spreading basins. Additionally, the responsible party (for MAR) is required to have the appropriate water right also managed by IDWR.
