USDA rural grant program includes geothermal energy projects

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Energy for America Program is providing grant funding to agricultural producers and rural small businesses to purchase and install renewable energy systems and make energy efficiency improvements to their operations.

Eligible renewable energy systems for REAP provide energy from geothermal, wind, solar, renewable biomass (including anaerobic digesters), small hydroelectric, ocean, or hydrogen derived from these renewable resources. It has a continuous application process until funds are awarded.
