NGWA Director of Science and Technology William Alley, Ph.D., pictured here, was a guest on The Infrastructure Show, a monthly podcast that discusses the condition of the nation’s infrastructure and what can be done about it.
The host of the show is Joseph Schofer, Ph.D., a professor at Northwestern University, who focuses his monthly discussions on preventative and predictive maintenance as well as structural health monitoring.
The interview with Alley runs nearly 30 minutes and the discussion centers on groundwater being used at rates faster than it is being recharged, groundwater management, risks to groundwater, and what the general public can do to aid those risks.
