NGWA Past President Walter A. Stockert passed away on December 17, 2022. He was 94.
Stockert, who served as NGWA president in 1974, received the Association’s top honor — the Ross L. Oliver Award — in 2005. The 50-year industry veteran operated RG Stockert Drilling Co. in Strasburg, Ohio.
Stockert received the NGWA Life Member Award in 1997.
