Henry “Bo” Holder, a former president of NGWA, passed away on December 12, 2024. He was 88.
Holder was formerly the owner of Holder Well And Pump Services in Social Circle, Georgia. He served as NGWA president in 1982.
He also was recognized by NGWA with the Ross L. Oliver Award in 2008. The Oliver Award is presented to a member who has made outstanding contributions to the groundwater industry. It is the most prestigious award given by the Association.
Holder first established Holder Well Co. in Covington, Georgia, in 1969 before heading to Fairbanks, Alaska, where he opened Klondike Well Drilling in 1983. He returned to Georgia in 2000, opening Holder Well And Pump Services.
