Musicians from Preservation Hall will headline Groundwater Week 2025 Keynote Address

March 18, 2025

The keynote presentation at Groundwater Week 2025 on December 10 in New Orleans, Louisiana, will feature the sounds of city with the Preservation Hall All Stars taking the stage.

Musicians from the world-famous Preservation Hall will be on stage and take attendees through a brief history of jazz in New Orleans, with the band performing classic pieces and sharing the stories behind them.

Preservation Hall is a famed music venue situated in the heart of New Orleans’ French Quarter. Established in 1961, Preservation Hall’s musicians have a reputation for providing some of the best sounds in traditional jazz.

The event will begin first with the NGWA Awards of Excellence Ceremony that honors the best in the groundwater industry and celebrating those who have made outstanding contributions to the field. Candidates running for open NGWA board positions will also share their vision for the future of NGWA.

It will be the perfect way to kick off the day at Groundwater Week — celebrating excellence in groundwater while soaking in the sounds of an American musical tradition.
