Drinking Water Advisory Council will discuss PFAS regulations

The National Drinking Water Advisory Council will meet virtually with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on July 28 to discuss PFAS regulations.

The meeting will take place from 1-4 p.m. ET and is required by the Safe Drinking Water Act on proposed revisions to the PFAS National Primary Drinking Water Regulation. The meeting is open to the general public and is important for those tracking or working with PFAS. 

The EPA will allocate one hour for the public to present oral comments during the meeting. Oral statements will be limited to three minutes per person during the public comment period and it is preferred one person present a statement on behalf of a group or organization. Anyone wanting to file a written statement can do so before or after the meeting.

Those interested in presenting an oral or written statements should send an email to Tracey Ward at ward.tracey@epa.gov by 12 p.m. ET on July 21.
