The National Ground Water Association’s Groundwater Week 2025 opens today in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Co-locating with the Irrigation Association, industry professionals, including groundwater contractors, scientists, engineers, manufacturers, and suppliers, from all over the world are attending the three-day event. It features education to earn CEUs, an Exhibit Hall to see the latest equipment, networking opportunities, and fun options to unwind.
Today’s schedule is highlighted by dozens of educational sessions on a variety of topics. Sessions designed for contractors include technology and profit, guidelines for a successful water well maintenance, and dual rotary drilling and completion techniques for water well and geothermal.
The Science & Engineering Forum taking place at the same time features sessions on groundwater management and education, groundwater modeling, groundwater monitoring, PFAS, and more.
The day concludes with the annual Groundwater Week After-Hours (Welcome Party) that is sponsored by Franklin Electric, Baker Water Systems, and NGWA Business PRO.
