The Baylor School of Earth and Environmental Sciences mourns the passing of long-time NGWA member Joe Yelderman Jr., Ph.D., on August 9. He was 76.
Yelderman served Baylor University in Waco, Texas, for 43 years as a professor of geology specializing in hydrogeology. His passion for teaching, scientific excellence, and environmental stewardship inspired generations of students. He brought many students to NGWA events.
